Johnny Cash (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003), born J. R. Cash, was an American singer-songwriter, actor, and author. As an exceptionally rare entertainer, Johnny Cash was able to span and unite generations with his music. Johnny Cash has been named one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Never defined as one particular type of music, Johnny’s songs and life always touched the human side of our nature.


February 27, 2010 in celebration of Johnny Cash’s 78th birthday Harold Ford & The Cash Band performed in concert at The Fort Salem Theater, Salem, NY. A testament to Johnny Cash’s continuing popularity, in the midst of a week full of snow storms, the house was sold out.
